Overview:

UnDURtal is a warped, glitchcore reinterpretation of Undertale, where grief, power, and emotional distortion shape each character into exaggerated versions of themselves. With aesthetics ranging from vaporwave crypts to cannibalistic bakeries, the Underground has never been more unhinged.

Sans (UnDURtal)[]

Role: Sentry / Tankiest Monster
Personality: Quiet, laid-back, but fiercely protective of his brother Papyrus.
Notable Traits:
- Despite his short, chubby appearance, Sans is incredibly durable and has a regenerative ability due to his exposure to Determination.
- Has served jail time after killing monsters to grow stronger and protect his brother from the “stupid weed” (Flowey).
- Constantly mistaken for a human by others, especially by Flowey, which leads to conflict.
- Deeply despises Flowey, who once possessed Papyrus in a past reset and made him commit atrocities.
- Sans is emotionally guarded but can be passive-aggressive or bloodlusted around Flowey.
- Has an odd job as a sentry, letting humans escape if they make it past him (except for Frisk and their family, who are his friends).
- The Royal guard also uses hum as the human mockup for drills and to test puzzles or do simulations
Appearance: A chubby, short figure about the same height as Frisk when they fell as an 8-year-old. Always seen in his familiar hoodie, with a mischievous grin and a laid-back demeanor.

Theodora Malice (aka Lily)[]

Personality: Chillingly manipulative, emotionally perceptive, and highly intelligent despite her toddler limitations.

- Her true identity, Theodora Malice, is a chilling legacy, though she uses the name "Lily" to blend in.
Appearance: Wears vintage, high-end baby clothes with a dark aesthetic—deep burgundy, ash gray, and black lace. Carries accessories like a pacifier engraved with Latin phrases and a leather-bound notebook filled with her sinister plans. Her stuffed animal, “Mr. Snuffles,” is a teddy bear with a monocle and a knife stitched into its paw.
Origin: Lily caused chaos at her orphanage before leaping into the Underground, where she becomes a force to be reckoned with. Some rumors claim she is a reincarnated genius or a clone of a Victorian villainess.

The story in a nutshell[]

UnDURtal is an alternate universe of Undertale where the main character, Lily (a toddler genius psychopath), falls into the Underground after causing destruction in her orphanage. The Underground is a twisted and distorted place, filled with bizarre versions of familiar characters. Here, she must navigate a chaotic world ruled by power struggles, manipulation, and deep emotional turmoil.

The story[]

At the core of the story is Lily's journey through the dark labyrinth of the Underground, as she encounters both monstrous foes and former heroes who have turned into more morally complex versions of themselves. With characters like Frisk, now a quirky family man with a receding hairline, Papyrus, a bloodthirsty but kind psychopath, and Sans, a battle-hardened sentry with a deep grudge against Flowey, Lily's choices and actions may reshape the fate of both the Underground and the humans who fall into it.

This AU blends dark humor with deep emotional conflict, exploring themes of power, corruption, identity, and the struggle to define what’s truly good or evil in a world constantly changing under the weight of its own history.

What about frisk?

Frisk is no longer the main character but a washed-up manchild with 3 kids and a loving wife.

While the focus shifts to Lily, a toddler genius psychopath who blew up her orphanage. Papyrus is still the "GREAT PAPYRUS," but he's a psychopathic Royal Guard member who enjoys killing and manipulating others, including his brother, Sans, who is now a 2-foot-tall, tanky sentry driven by deep trauma after Flowey possessed Papyrus and killed everyone in a long ago previous reset, the only reset that sans remembered.

Flowey is an openly malevolent figure, fully known for his manipulation and sociopathy. The story explores twisted relationships, dark humor, and psychological manipulation, with characters like Toriel and Chara being more warped, and the overall tone being a mix of dark comedy and emotional turmoil.
