RainbowChalkTale is an AU created by RainbowChalkSiamese. It is a self-insert AU that involves RainbowChalkSiamese’s fandoms as the monsters.
Story[]
Once upon a time, there were two races: Real-Worlders and Fictionals. One day, the Real-Worlders ganged up on the Fictionals and forced them underground. The Fictionals settled and created a kingdom, led by three princesses: Celestia, Luna, and Cadence, along with their trusted royal scientist Penny Sanchez. In a tragic lab accident, all four perished, leaving Twilight Sparkle as the rightful ruler. She resigned, as she felt that the lab accident was her fault, giving her position to Zim and Dib. One day, a Real-Worlder named Lolbitplayz03 fell underground. She was found by the two kings, who took care of her and introduced her to Gir. Gir and Lolbitplayz became fast friends until Lolbitplayz sacrificed herself to free the Fictionals. Gir took the soul and returned to the surface, only to be fatally injured. He crawled back to the underground and died on a mass of robotic parts. Soon, our very protagonist fell underground…..

- An anthropomorphic rainbow cat, RainbowChalkSiamese takes the role of Frisk. She has been known to listen to a lot of 8-bit and punk music and is called RCS for short. Her actions depend on the choices of the player.
- Despite taking the role of Chara, Lolbitplayz03 is actually a pacifist. In this AU, she is actually anti-genocide. She has been known to listen to pop and is called Playzy for short. At the end of the genocide run, you will have a battle against her.
- A sadistic robot, Mangle (Five Nights at Freddy’s) takes the role of Flowey. She only shows her head as a sprite and has a particular hatred for children. Instead of “Friendliness Pellets”, Mangle uses Pepperonis.
- Even though he is only twelve, Dib Membrane (Invader Zim) takes the role of Toriel. He bakes pumpkin pie and keeps his love of the paranormal. He wears a black robe over his usual outfit as well as a blue eyeball pendant. He has calmed down a lot since he left Zim.
- Volleyball Pearl (Steven Universe) takes the role of the Ruins Dummy. Not many changes are seen, but killing Volleyball counts towards the kill count.
- Lapis Lazuli (Steven Universe) takes the role of Napstablook. After her gem was cracked, she retreated to her farmhouse, often traveling between Cloudesdale and the Base.
- Rudy Tabootie (ChalkZone) takes the role of Sans. Although more laid back than his canon self, he is still eager to help and to draw. If RCS wakes him up during the chase scene with Rainbow Dash, he yells “The Multiverse!” and goes back to sleep. His eye turns red when fighting him during the genocide run.
- Energetic and proud, Snap (ChalkZone) takes the role of Papyrus. He bakes pastries of all kinds that are loved by many. He secretly enjoys Rudy’s puns. When killed, he says “I believed in you…..”
- Rainbow Dash (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) takes the role of Undyne. She enjoys watching fighting tournaments with Twilight Sparkle and baking with Snap. However, unlike Snap, she is terrible at baking.
- Spinel (Steven Universe) takes the role of Mad Dummy. After being abandoned by Pink Diamond, she became enraged and deranged. Her only incentive is to attack.
- Twilight Sparkle (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) takes the role of Alphys. She makes lemon-lime soft drinks and watches rom-coms as well as fighting tournaments.
- Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond/Pink Steven (Steven Universe) take the roles of the three forms of Mettaton. The gem has been placed inside a robot with multiple forms.
- Pikachu, Pinkie, Ni-Pul, Ling-Ling, and Kai-Lan (Rewind/Toontale) take the roles of the Gaster Followers. As soon as they see RCS, they act like worshippers and bring her to Penny.
- Penny Sanchez (ChalkZone) takes the role of W.D. Gaster. She is actually able to speak in a language other than wingdings in this AU. In the pacifist route, she congratulates you in making it through without harming anyone. In the genocide route, she tells you that she knows what you did and is ashamed before battling you.
- Zim (Invader Zim) takes the role of Asgore. Under his confident and assertive exterior, he misses his ex-boyfriend and wishes he was never king.
- Gir (Invader Zim) takes the role of Asriel. He is known to be hyperactive and kind in his true form.
- Yamper (Pokemon) takes the role of the Annoying Dog. He keeps track of all the actions you do and battles you at the end of the genocide route.
- Discord (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) takes the role of Onionsan. He is a giant sea serpent who, like Yamper, keeps track of your actions and battles you at the end of the genocide route.
