Forgotten World is the reboot of Underterror, an Undertale AU where the Earth once suffering globally from the war and later the apocalypse that led the planet almost to complete ruin.
Underterror was discontinued in 2021, leaving the Toxin Sans fangame completely unfinished. After the change of ownership, Underterror rebooted as Forgotten World. Since then, the reboot has become different compared to the preboot.

- Underterror was formerly owned by Toxin_ (Toxin the Skeleton).
- Forgotten World was somehow mistaken for a version take of Underterror.
- The reboot is still apparently overshadowed by its previous, the preboot Underterror.
- Unlike the preboot, Sans is different from his old Toxin Sans self.
- Sans doesn't possess a Gaster Blaster ("Toxin Blaster" in preboot) because he never had one before.
